Math 2.0 Interest Group 08 26 2009 Meeting Chat Only
About the event
Wednesday, August 26th we will meet in Skype at 9pm EST. You can come earlier to test the mike and otherwise set up the system. If you do not have the platform, download it free from
Host: Maria Droujkova, Skype name maria_droujkova
Topic: work together on our "In Education" article. Should we use the word "edupunk"? Which blogs do we showcase? Are for-pay resources to be considered? What are the major issues we have discussed so far? What else needs to be mentioned? There are questions big and small...
Because it is the beginning of a school year for many, we will keep the meeting to half an hour. To participate, send a Skype message to maria_droujkova and you will be added to the group voice and text chat. Skype is a great free tool, and I want to make sure we add it to the collection of the platforms this group is using for real-time virtual collaboration.
This event is a part of the ongoing Math 2.0 interest group conversation series. Always-discussed questions:
networks and communities creating social math objects
platforms for remote communication of this interest group
our projects and collaboration
publishing efforts and bibliography
